A lot of people ask me if a ever tattoo myself. The answer is: Yes, I do... quite often, actually. The first picture below is a cover up I did on myself the other day. If you look closely, you can see a bit of the old piece still visible under the cover up. Personally, I'm not too concerned about it. If it needs to be made darker later I can always throw a bit more shading in... I'm sure a bit of it poking through won't bother me once the whole leg is done. I would rather have a pretty bunch of flowers that look the same than a big, black-centered one that will stand out when the piece is completed.
The other pieces in this entry are not me. Tara finally came in for her starfish after surfing her summer away. Chris got a Latin phrase in wingdings3 because he is awesome. Kristen got her script lettering done on the underside of her upper arm. Katherine and I made quick work of the color in her chestpiece yesterday, as well.
