Sorry I've been so slack in updating here...I've recently moved to a new apartment and (of course) there were the holidays and my birthday and I got sick on top of all that!
Anyway, enough of my whining, right? You want pictures. Here you go...there are a bunch!
This piece is on one of our brave soldiers who's shipping out in March to Iraq for the first time. She'll be in training until then. We did a wicked rush job on the drawing, but we obviously did not cut corners on the final project. Basically, I drew it up overnight so she could take her little Anna Su overseas with her. We wish you luck, come home safe!
Aaron's almost done with his half sleeve. We started it while he was still local...now he flies in from Chicago for work. Only one more session, Aaron...PROMISE!
Beth and her Mom came in for mother-daughter tattoos. I love mother-daughter tattoos. I'm still waiting for my mother to get "JOY" emblazoned on her somewhere...hmmm. Anyway, while these sparrows are indeed adorable, they pale in comparison to this mother-daughter team. Awww.
Niki finally got his Escher piece finished! HOORAH! So happy to see pieces completed! While I may've gone a little cross-eyed, it was definitely a fun piece to do.
Rebecca came in with Aaron. Yes, she flew in from Chicago, too. She got her favorite childhood toy tattooed on her. I divulged that I also have a stuffed animal tattoo, but enough about me....
Finally, here's Kat's arm/hand piece. The lighter area in the middle was done last year...that's why its lighter. (duh) I love doing this kind of stuff. I recently did a couple of black-dot-work pieces on my own hands. If anyone's interested, let me know. I'm dying to play around with color changes with this style, too. The last picture is how I sent Kat home. Figured you'd enjoy that, as well.
I still have some appointments available in January...come and make one for yourself. The Bluray sale is still in full swing - please check the entry below for details.
