then, Bri tattooed me. it was less than comfortable.
we did manage to get to the beach one day and have a little outdoor sunshine time, too!over all, the trip was a good time and i'm planning on doing the convention again next year. actually, i'm planning on doing more conventions in the future, so keep an ear to the ground so you know when i'll be out-of-town and maybe near you!

Laura came in to get a memorial piece for her beloved feline, Moe. We shared funny cat stories, laughed, and cried a little. Being a crazy cat lady myself, I could totally sympathize with how she felt and hope the tattoo made her grieving a little less painful.
Bella just had to get in the chair for one final text tattoo before the year was out. I can't wait to see what "picture tattoos" we come up with for her in the new year!
Matt was my first tattoo of 2008. Some of you may know him as "Unicorn Matt"... he's the owner of the insanely colorful unicorn tattoo in my portfolio. We started the rest of that sleeve today. He came in a few months ago and said, "I'm thinking bees with ray guns" and here's what we started. Yes, there is a cowboy bee. Yes, they are blowing up NYC. Just wait until the color gets going!

i hope you all had a good time partying, spending time w/ loved ones, or pondering just how old Dick Clark could possibly be, as my friends and i did. after waking up late today and checking my calendar, it looks like i've already got quite a few appointments set up for the new year!
since January is looking to be pretty busy, call me soon if you would like to get some work done this month. as always, i'm more than happy to come in on "days off" or stay late if you don't mind being tattooed in the wee hours.
there will be one more day of filming with MSNBC for me and that will be Tuesday, January 8th. obviously, the shop will be closed that day. don't fret! as soon as i know what day the show is airing i'll be sure to publicize the hell out of it.
ALSO: i will be out-of-town at the Marked For Life Convention in Florida. i will be tending a cute, little booth w/ fellow tattoo artist, Briana Sargent from Sacred Tattoo in Chinatown, NYC. if you're going to be in the area while the convention is going on, come say hi - or better yet - come get tattooed at the convention by me!
